Clubs & Societies

Your son can discover his strengths beyond the classroom. Debate, Science, Christian Union, Journalism, Wildlife & Environment, Music & Drama and other activities build confidence, friendships, creativity, service and leadership in a supportive school community.

Sports

Students participate in football, athletics, basketball, volleyball, rugby and indoor games. Training develops fitness, teamwork, discipline and resilience, while friendly fixtures and school competitions provide opportunities to represent Tenwek and grow through healthy competition.

Chaplaincy

Regular services, devotionals, mentorship and community service help learners develop spiritual maturity, empathy and character. Chaplaincy also provides a welcoming space for reflection, encouragement and pastoral support.

Boarding Routines

Parents can expect a balanced boarding routine covering study, rest, worship, meals, recreation and personal responsibility. House routines, supervised preparation, evening reflection and caring adult guidance help boarders develop independence, wellbeing and respect for others.

A Day in Boarding

Morning: Wake-up, personal preparation, worship and breakfast before lessons.
School day: Lessons, pathway learning, practical work and scheduled breaks.
Afternoon: Sports, clubs, games and student leadership activities.
Evening: Supper, supervised prep, reading, consultation and reflection.
Night: House checks, quiet hours and rest in a safe, structured environment.
